My future

Today I have to write about what I believe is my most hated subject, my future.
I have not clue about what an anthropologist do. It sounds like a joke, but it isn't.
You may think 'why is she studying something without even knowing what she can do after she graduates?'. That's a good question and I can't really answer it.
What I know is that I like some topics, and I think that I can have a work related to them as an anthropologists.
I would like to work with patrimony and memory, because I believe that this are important subjects and there is a lot of work to do there and I hope to be a contribution as an anthropologist.
I believe that I could work in something related to protecting patrimony or researching about our memory. That would imply to work with lots of different people in differents places of the country, so it would imply to travel around Chile. It also would imply some outdoors and field work time, but also working in a conventional office.
I think that working in the government would be a good option, because it's the institution that handles this topics (or at list it should handle it) or also in an ONG.
I don't expect to become reach, but I hope to live without always being concern about paying my bills.

Dreams

Last night I had the weirdest dream. Somehow, I had a new pet, that was a little hippopotamus, and I forgot to feed it.
I woke up felling very guilty, and I spent the entire day trying to figure out what that dream meant. I believe that dreams are messages from ourselves to ourselves, I guess that is similar to consider dreams as messages from our unconscious, but I don't like saying that because all of the associations that come to my mind, I immediately  think int Freud and the stuff that he said about dreams that I learnt at school, and I really thing that dreams are much a simple thing.
I usually remember parts of my dreams, like having a little hippopotamus and not feeding it, but I know that are some parts that I don't remember, like who gave that pet. I also always remember very clearly some images from my dreams, they are always very colorful.
I spend a lot of my awake time dreaming. I always continue more time on the bus or on the metro because I don't realize that I have to get off it because I'm daydreaming. I thing that is something important to do, because that way you may can realize what are the things that you are wishing for.
I don't really know what dream I could achieve with a lot of money or political power, but I guess that knowing that I have enough money for doing whatever I want to without money being an issue, would make things eassier, but I don't think that money is everything for making dreams come true.

Best Holidays

My high school has the tradition of, before starting the senior year, going to France (yes, I know that it sounds crazy) during two weeks with all our classmates and five teachers, and then we have the option of staying a while longer all by ourselves. I ended up spending whole extra month with two of my best friends.
It was crazy, we went to so many places! After France, we went to Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Venice, Barcelona, Prague, Berlin and a little town in Germany, but it's name remains, until today, a mystery for me.
We did so many things. It was crazy the amount of things we would do on a day, the number of places we visited. When we were alone we also would do everything we could, we had a crazy routine of getting very early in the morning and getting back to wherever we were staying (usually it was a cheap B&B) only for sleeping.
It has been my best holiday so so far for many reasons, but mainly because I was expecting this trip since my older sister make it (when I was 8 years old!) and because I got to share this with some really good friends, after 2 years of planning it.
