Being green

Being green it's very trendy today. I believe that that's good, that people are conscious about how the thing that they do affects our planet can't be a bad thing, but sometimes I have doubts about the reasons for adding green habits to our routines, An example, if I decide to wear only eco-friendly clothes, is it because I really believe that is the right think to do, or is it because it is the most fashionable think right now? Is it because it just sounded fun to do it or I have other reasons for doing it?
It's not a mix of actions that makes you a green person, for example, I ride my bike more that using the public transport system and  I also grow a garden in my house, but just because I like to do those things. I don't believe that this simple actions make me a 'green person'. More important than that it's to respect our planet, the place we live in, and take care of it, just as we take care of cleaning our houses, we should take care of every space that we inhabit.
I believe that the entire relationship that we establish with our planet is the thing that one must evaluate in order to establish if we are green persons, and not just a couple of actions that we do. I know that it may sound kind of hippie, but I believe that that it's and important thing that we often don't consider, because what's the point in ridding my bike if I still produce a lot of garbage in my house

Art

When I was a kid, I remember I took some painting lessons. I really enjoyed it, and during my school years the class that I always enjoyed the most was the art class. There is something about making stuff with my hands, playing with color combinations, textures, etc, that I really enjoy. I guess you could said that I am a crafty person, I can knit, felt, make origami. Can you consider that as being interested in art or as being good at art? I suppose you do.

Let's think about origami. Yes, you can do a little boat out of a piece of paper, but I doubt that someone would consider that as art, but there are some pieces of origami that could be in any museum of modern art. What can be consider art and what not is a discussion that is to big for this post, so we will go ahead an consider origami as art, because I say so.

There are some really skilled persons, that can made beautiful thing just with a square of paper and their hands, like Akira Yoshizawa, an origami artist that is quite famous for working with wet paper. He even got and exhibition at the Louvre!
